The reverse of this Tetradrachm is an issue of One of his Generals (Selekoy) Alexander's conquests of the world was divided up by 4 Generals- This one started the Selecuid Dynasty. He had a fetish about anchors due to a birthmark on his thigh- consequently his coin issues have the anchor depicted. However, on the obverse Alexander's image was still used-for as long as 9 years after his death.
