Biography
|
I was born in that dear land of Oklahoma where the buffalo roam- a herd of 80 near where I grew up- consequently my interest for the Buffalo Nickel was first on my lists. I had my own Accounting practice for 43 years, An opportunity came to sell my practice-so I did and consequently moved to the Land Of enchantment to be near our son and his family. My son has also been infected with the coin bug so we exchange our knowledge. Aside from coins, I spend a good deal of time in my garden- and my wife has always supported this hobby and has been with me to many many coin shows and coin clubs- I have served as a coin club president -and other official jobs several times.- Also hosted a Numismatic Research Group on Television that won me a trip to the ANA Convention in Chicago -1964 (I think) (The years fly by-I have to think..I have long said, this is the King of Hobbies- Or you can put it another way and say, What could be nicer- The class of people, the knowledge one gains, the friendships -all of which is priceless.
