10 Centavos 1936 obverse |
Facing (one-quarter left) bust of Francisco de Cordoba, founder of Nicaragua and eponym of the currency unit. This pose is difficult to execute well on coinage, and has a tendency to wear badly. The present type is probably as good as anything similar.
2.5 g, 800 silver, 0.0643 oz ASW, reeded edge, 18 mm.
