1857 Short Pole Half Dime. Not 1858 |
Here is another odd one. I read that the 1858 short pole half dime was caused by a polished working die. This coin may prove that this is not correct. Perhaps it was the master die. This is Pop 1 last I knew. This coin also has Rev. die clashing! Was P63 crack out some yrs back. No pole between thumb and forefinger. Removed do to Clash? , or , Master die problem? Enjoy
