Crowned, nimbate bust of St Steven by Beran, right. Inscription commemorating 900 years since the martyrdom of the "Apostolic King of Hungary". Note that the cross on the crown is upright. In all other uses it is bent over to the side, an injury which occurred because it was buried in the ground after the catastrophic Battle of Mohacs, and only recovered generations later.
